This video is a speculative sci-fi narrative inspired by Back to the Future, reimagined through a Latin American historical lens. In this story, Marty McFly and Doc Brown travel to Venezuela at a critical moment in time — when Hugo Chávez was imprisoned — to intervene in history. Their mission is not destruction, but extraction: removing him from the timeline and relocating him to a distant future where he never governs, allowing Venezuela’s destiny to unfold without collapse. The vision explores the ethical paradox of time travel: If you have the power to change history, do you have the right to use it? Visually, the piece blends cinematic realism with surreal temporal elements. The process involved creating highly realistic AI-generated frames, maintaining character consistency, historical atmosphere, and emotional weight. Each shot was designed as a “moment frozen in time,” emphasizing tension, inevitability, and the fragility of cause and effect. Rather than portraying heroes or villains, the film treats time itself as the main character — a delicate structure that can be bent, but never without consequences. This project is not about rewriting the past, but questioning how different the present could be if a single decision had never occurred.
