A SMALL REMINDER - from Grandma
Grandma gives a small reminder, a warning about how not to get trapped in the loop! Tackling a philosophical question with action? 🎬 We often think of action scenes as just visual spectacles, but I wanted to use that visual contrast to tell a deeper story. My latest AI short film explores the ultimate choice: Comfort or dare? Do you risk the fall, or do you play it safe until you are drowning in your own regrets? How do you visualize the weight of a wasted life? By tackling a philosophical question with action?!? In "A Small Reminder", the visual contrast is everything. I wanted to tell the story of this grandma by creating a sharp contrast between the silence of a deathbed and the adrenaline of a freefall. It’s a visual representation of the human dilemma: Comfort or dare? Do we stay safe in our daydreams, or do we take the leap? Because if we only dream of our dreams, the only thing waiting for us is a terrifying loop of regrets. Is it procastination or perfectionism, or just being neurodivergent or fear of being unsuccessful at the end? Or maybe it is just the way the life happens... What keeps us from daring to take the leap at times to reach out for our dreams? I’d love to hear your take on this. I'll appreciate the comments after you watch the film at the link below! 👇Packed with action scenes, it's all about your dreams, especially the bad ones... Dedicated to all the dreamers out there. Script, Music and Sequence by Ozan Yurdakul. Made by using Kling and Veo 3.1.
